Let's have this kid already!

Today might be the day! I saw the doctor yesterday, Monday, and he said that I have started to dialate, not much, but some and he wants to induce on Tuesday, today! So I packed, got everything ready, woke up and called the hospital like I was supposed to and well, every bed at Kadlec is full at the moment. So, all day Cory, Cadence and I have been sitting around the house waiting for the call. It is now 10 minutes to 4 pm and I am beginning to wonder....hmmm! I did make one outing today, to the bank and then to Rite-aid. While I was there I checked my blood pressure, which has been of some concern lately! Yep! I think it is time to get the kid out! 143 over 104! Yikes! My doctor might just c-section this kid out after seeing that kind of blood pressure! Either way, the kid is going to come out and it is going to be painful! So, here goes! I don't know that I have ever written anything with so many exclamation points!

Ok, those of you with two or more kids, did you ever fell "funny" about having the second or third. Like maybe you were abandoning the first and a little overwhelmed with the feeling that the first might not know how much you love them once the second comes along? I might just be crazy right now, but man, these thoughts keep bugging me! Will I be able to do this? It doesn't help either that Cadence has maybe the worst cold that she has had since she was born and is having a hard time sleeping, eating and breathing and it is making me wild to think that I have to leave her feeling so awful! And will she be well enough to come to the hospital to see baby and will she have to go back to the doctor for more medicine and if so will my mom be able to take her and....it just goes on....

I probably won't be back on-line for a while but will try to post pictures of the new baby soon. If you read this, please pray for a quick, "painless", and safe delivery! I am pretty nervous right now!

Thanks Shannon!

"Are you sure it's in there mommy?"

"I think I can hear it!"

"I think I can feel it!"

Wow! Shannon Snyder is awesome! Here are a couple of photos that she took of Cadence and the "belly". Not so proud of the belly, but it is what it is, right? Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

The Oregon Coast in January

Cory, Cadence and I went to the coast in January for a family vacation before #2 arrived. Have you ever been to the coast when there is snow on the ground? Us either. We didn't know it was even possible. I mean, isn't the coast one of the ranges where it is "mild" weather all year round? Yep, that's what we thought too! Not true! It was 20 degrees out, snow on the ground, wind blowing and oh, so cold! We ventured down to the beach every day anyway, but didn't stay for long! Ok, so I have added some photos here and they are not exactly how I would like them to be arranged! I am still working on this! :) Daddy and Cadence
Mommy and Cadence
Daddy, Cadence and the Beach Snake
What we found in Cadence's pak n play while she was supposed to be napping!
Reading books!

Cadence naked, working the camera, and cheesing it for daddy! (She won't do that for mommy)
Update for the day: Still swollen, still pregnant, still watching 9 children a day, but still happy, not discouraged and looking forward to the new arrival (after I get more "chores" done!)
Have a great day, all!

Trying more out!

So much for getting back to finish the alphabet the next day, eh? Oh, well! So, I am trying to figure out how to post pictures, move things around, add things, etc...still learning all of this! But I found this cool picture of Cory and Dude, so, I thought I would try to post it! And, I think that I am going to be successful! Yeah!

Well, today I saw the doctor, yeah! I have high blood pressure and my legs look like tree trunks, my toes and fingers look like sausages, and my face feels funny, but the doctor does not want to induce because I have not begun to dialate! (can I say that on here? : )) Which I am not upset about because I still have things that I need to get done. Like cleaning floors, toilets, walls, showers, windows, microwaves and ovens. Making sure all the clothes are put away in at least the right rooms, mowing the lawn, fixing Dudes kennel (so he can finally come live with us) and fixing the gate to the backyard so that my oldest daughter (well, only daughter for now) does not escape, again!!!! She is going to give me a heart attack!

Just so you all know... Cory found out about my blog and thinks that he would enjoy adding things to it from time to time. So, just wanted to give you all a heads up!

I am going to search out more photos of just Cory and I and Dude! Really! But that will have to wait for another day!

today

Today is my first day writing in this "blog" world, and, well, here goes:

Some of the things that I am thinking today:
Attitude is everything
Babies are beautiful
Cozette, Coda, Christian or Chord?
Dough!
Everyone needs to change a childs (not your own) poopy diaper at least once in their lifetime
Family is awesome
God is forgiving and merciful
How do you choose a baby name?
I love sweets right now

I think that is about all the farther I can go at the moment! I will finish tomorrow!

So, I have to thank my friend Lindsay Murdock for helping me get this blog up and running! Anyone who dares to search this blog out, please beware! It will be pretty rough for awhile! But enjoy what you can! I will be sure to post lots of pictures of Cadence and Baby...

Til another day,
Stacy
